The Northern Illinois center for Autism (NICA) is a 501c3 non profit organization that was developed by parents, guided by professionals and has grown over these past 5 years into an organization that has a networking membership of over 575 contacts. Serving well over 1,250 people annually, NICA continues to grow and assist people with autism, their family members and those in the community who support them.

The Special Moms group helps support, understand and educate members of the families with children of special needs such as Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD/NOS), and Autism, ADD, speech and language delays.  We are a group of stay-at-home, work-from-home, part-time and full-time working moms, teachers, therapist, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that live in or near Elburn.  T …
